A permanent soloist at Düsseldorf Opera and Innsbruck Opera, Eva Vogel has worked with renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Edo de Waart and Ingo Metzmacher. Ms. Vogel is a sought after guest soloist and made appearances with Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Berlin Philharmonic, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Staatstheater Nürnberg, Theater Bremen, Teatro Massimo Palermo, and Teatro Regio Turino.
Born in Germany, she studied at the Mannes College of Music in New York, and the Yale University. Privately she worked with Christa Ludwig and Brigitte Fassbaender. Upon graduation, she became a member of the opera studio at Cologne Opera. Ms. Vogel performed the Wagnerian roles at the Salzburg Easter Festival and the Aix-en-Provence festival. Her repertoire includes leading roles in operas by Gluck, Mozart, Handel, Mascagni, Humperdinck, Strauss, Verdi, and Bizet.
Eva Vogel often performs in both symphony programs and recitals. She toured the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, USA, Canada, and South Korea and took part in the performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in Milan, Verdi’s Requiem at the Middle Rhein Music Festival, Wagner’s Die Walküre with the Berlin Philharmonic, Gershwin songs recital at the International Piano Festival Ruhr, and Berlioz’ Les Nuits d’Ete with Duisburg Philharmonic.
