Evgeniy Kryukov (tenor), Russia

Laureate of international competitions in Russia, Bulgaria, and Italy. Winner of the Pokrovsky Prize of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. Graduated from the Ural Conservatory (class of Professor V. Pisarev, Honored Artist of Russia). He polished his skills under the guidance of the opera singer Alexandrina Milcheva (Bulgaria). Since 2011, he has been a soloist of the Ural Opera Ballet Theatre where he debuted as the Prince in Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges. Evgeniy is the company’s sole performer of Count Ory role in the homonymous Rossini opera. He took part in the first night performances of Passenger by Weinberg, Greek Passions by Martinů, Three Sisters by Eötvös, and Satyagraha by Glass. He is the performer of the leading tenor parts of the theatre’s classical repertoire.
